So when Susan and I attended the Kirstie Kelly for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings bridal show in New York, we were thrilled to see her latest Red Label line for plus-sized brides. (And while we were there I loved the fact that we got to meet last season’s America’s Next Top Model winner, Whitney — she was so sweet!)
The Red Label collection boasts fairytale-like gowns catering to plus-sized brides wearing a size 16 or more. Body-flattering materials include silk chiffon, satin and taffeta while accents of crystal, pearl, ribbon, embroidery and beadwork appliqués help to flatter natural curves. Originally launched in April 2007, this season’s Red Label collection features 15 new dresses with inspiration from Disney’s star princesses: Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and Snow White. Designs are available in nine countries and more than 140 salons across the U.S. Gowns from $1,400.
