Fly Free to Belize

For a super secluded getaway, nothing quite compares to Cayo Espanto, a private-island resort off the coast of Belize. We featured Casa Ventanas, the resort’s first overwater bungalow, in our Fall issue because of its luxurious privacy factor. The resort also boasts five additional one- and two-bedroom oceanfront villas that are just as romantic and reclusive, each equipped with its own plunge pool. Since every villa is staffed with a personal houseman to attend to your every wish, you and your honey can pretend to be deserted on a beautiful island without actually roughing it. Sound good? It gets even better with their Free Flyin’ offer. Stay for five nights between January 8 and May 31, 2009 and the resort will pay for your airfare to Belize. Book Casa Olita, Casa Manana, Casa Estrella or Casa Aurora and receive two free airline tickets or a maximum of credit of $1,200; book Casa Brisa or Casa Ventanas and receive one free airline ticket or a maximum credit of $600. Cayo Espanto’s Reservations Department will reserve airline tickets and apply the corresponding credit to the fare, or will issue the equivalent to the room reservation. Direct flights to Belize are available from New York, Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Houston and Dallas. All stays include three meals daily, non-alcoholic beverages, a personal butler, and airport transfers. Rates start at $1,195 a night.
