Soak It In

Destination-wedding events are getting longer (so you need more clothes), airline restrictions are getting tighter (so you can’t bring more clothes) and budgets are getting smaller (so overpriced laundry service is out). That’s why I love the travel-sized packets of no-rinse, hand-wash detergent from Soak.

Available in an array of fresh scents like Flora, Aquae and Citrus, as well as Scentless for brides with sensitive skin, the solution works on any fabric but is gentle enough for lingerie, swimsuits and other delicates. Just squeeze the 10 mL packet into a sink filled with cool water, and let your laundry soak for 15 minutes. Gently squeeze out the water and hang to dry — there’s no need to scrub or rinse! Each packet is good for at least two “loads.”
