Our editor in chief, Susan, went to high school in Annapolis, Maryland, and visits the destination frequently. (She’s even blogged about the city’s wedding options.) The town sounds so charming, and I’m excited that we finally have a featured real wedding that took place there. Celeste and Evan Henry are a super-cute, Virginia-based couple who wanted to get married on the water, but also wanted the location to be convenient for their guests. They chose Annapolis for its central location and entertaining downtown area. The Annapolis Marriott Waterfront was the perfect setting for their big day, and the intimate ceremony took place overlooking the ship-filled harbor of Chesapeake Bay. Celeste chose a teal and fuchsia color scheme, which came through nicely in the flowers and bridesmaids’ dresses. She also incorporated a beach theme by creatively using seashells as place-card holders and to decorate the wedding cake.Photos courtesy of Christine Morden Photography

Fish eye lenses really do good in weddings. Nice.
